【摘要】:Intheprimarymetallurgicalprocessesusedbythemineralprocessingindustryforgoldbearingores,goldisextractedwithalkalinecyanidesolutionsandadsorbedontoactivatedcarbonforrecoveryofthemetal.Metallurgicalaccounting,processcontrol,andoreevaluationproceduresforthistypeofmineralprocessingplantdependonaccurate,precise,andpromptmeasurementsofgoldconcentrationsintheactivatedcarbon.Thistestmethodforgoldinactivatedcarbonisintendedprimarilyasarefereemethodtotestsuchmaterialsformetalcontent.Itisassumedthatthosewhousetheseprocedureswillbetrainedanalystscapableofperformingcommonlaboratoryproceduresskillfullyandsafely.Itisexpectedthatworkwillbeperformedinaproperlyequippedlaboratoryandthatproperwastedisposalprocedureswillbefollowed.Appropriatequalitycontrolpracticesmustbefollowed,suchasthosedescribedinGuideE882.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofgoldinactivatedcarbonbyfireassaycollectionandgravimetricmeasurement.Itcoverstherangeof15to5000956;g/ggold.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardsstatements,seeSection9andNotes2-4,Note6,andNote7.
